Who: During the Chinese Tang Dynasty, Lili Fan is born as He Xian Gu to a wealthy couple in Zhenzheng. The girl bears six long hairs on the crown of her head, a very auspicious sign in ancient China. Word of the favorable infant spreads and people come from near and far to bask in the child’s fortunate ambiance. When she turns fourteen, He Xian Gu is visited by strange man, who gives her immortal life.
Her mysterious creator leaves as abruptly as he appeared and He Xian Gu sets out to find him. Unavailing, she finally settles down on Wudang Mountain, where she changes her name to Lili Fan and starts a clan of her own.
Together with her children, she masters the martial arts of Kung Fu, Tai Chi, and Qigong. As centuries pass, Lili and her coven become Taoist priests on the holy mountain and Lili becomes known to the Chinese people as one of the legendary eight immortals.
